Hi there,
Just wondering if anyone knows a good way to play Star Trek Elite Force on windows 10 these days.
It's the kind of game I'd expect to find on Gog actually but they don't seem to have it yet. They're not on Steam either.
Maybe if there are enough comments it'll happen.

What do you guys think?

Elite Force 1 works fine. Should install fine if your on 32 bit. (64 bit users will need to copy the entire contents of the CD to a new folder on their hard drive (I put it on the desktop as its only for install) then change compat for setup.exe in the folder to Windows 98 or XP and run it, setup should run fine then and the game will install. Once its done you can delete this folder and the game runs fine for me under Windows 10.

(Same as above for the Expansion for Elite Force 1.)

Elite Force 2 runs without any issues for me under 10. Nothing special is needed.

(I have them both installed and running under 10, they are my always installed game.)

Edit: Thought its worth a mention Elite Force 2 can have issues if its not on C Drive (It doesnt always install, as it will sometimes detect another drive as - space.) If it does this and you want it on another drive, install it to C then install the patch, then copy the entire Elite Force II folder to where you want it, then you should be able to uninstall the game as it doesnt need any reg entries (aside from installing the patch.)

(Elite Force 1 does not have this issue and can be installed on another drive fine.)

If your putting Elite Force 2 on C drive then you can ignore the above edit and the game should run fine.

I don't actually own a PC with CD-ROM drive anymore these days xD
Nor would I know where to get my hands on the disks, they're lost to history for me.
The only way for me is to find a good torrent I guess. But if they were on the Gog store I'd totally invest in them.
It would make my life easier.

They're good games ^^

For the CDs Amazon or eBay. But the games are not avaliable digital anywhere (your only option would be to either get them, and get a DVD drive or, get them via the P word.)

I can't speak as to how they will work and if they will work if you get them via P as I have them and install them from their original CDs.
ye thx man.

Amazing how fast you answered the post.

No problem. Elite Force is one of my all time fav games. I'd love to see GOG get it and would prob get it. Its one of the games I own that always get installed and remains installed.
