Maybe the appreciation for pixel art is not that widespread anymore. I will always love well-done pixel stuff more than any 3D creation. Part of it is nostalgia for me of course, I just get a warm feeling looking at the often charming expression that comes with the limitation of that genre. Just got a chuckle out of looking at Bruce Lee sprites from the Commodore 64 version.
