How come if GOG is just selling this on sale, you cannot find a live server to upload, nor a forum to complain? And the game is asking for an upload, or what do you need all these tools for? Shouldnt the file offer come with a working community server, or a public service one? People is not missing for this... are they? Going through past news for this game is not easy, we should start calling them History. But nice reference in the splash screen for that kind of flat templates...
1. The servers are EA-sided, probably closed down. This game is not alone on GOG with having closed down MP-servers (see all games that requires GameSpy for example).

2. There's a subforum for SPORE here.

Error. All links in the internet ought to be supported. We have institutions to achieve such effects and not let them fall into market vicissitudes. A company picking up this kind of closed databases would be very welcomed, shouldnt GOG be doing it since it is here where you find the broken links, lost documents, closed servers, etc. for their products? as if those things could not be run unattended as-is.
First stage is surely incomplete and underdeveloped, but it will be impossible to make any other similar game playable if it is not the quality of these animations. https://youtu.be/MOBqogdchzc

Oh! Then the dropped down menu in the game collection case is faulty. It jumped into General Discussion, not the specific forum as most games. OK.

Could be they don't sell it with the guarantee to find a server to upload.

As for the forum to complain. Voila.
Some games do state clearly whether the servers are up or down or no more. GOG should review the reviews (pun!), some are really dated or need some small editing. Spore does seem to be dead and now it is crashing silently just before I can save the game, so I am doing the same thing again and again without advancement.
