I just finished playing the demo for Spiritfarer. What a beatiful and peaceful game. I'm super excited for it's release! The only "bug" I found was that on the right side of Hummingberg in the diving section, it asks to hold W instead of S in order to dive. That's it!

The demo for this game is fun, beautiful, calming, and moving. I love the art style, and the light transitions between times of day are gorgeous. Stella's sprightly maneuvers are super fun, and I love rearranging the boat's buildings to find the best configuration for her to parkour around. I'm so excited for the full game to come out!!!

I love it so much I've played through the demo a few times, and I have noticed what might be a few minor bugs:

- I bought some turnip and carrot seeds in Hummingberg and planted them in the second garden/field structure (the one I built at the shipyard). But when they were ready to harvest I couldn't do it! I'd press E and Stella would just get stuck in the kneeling/pulling position, with the game prompting me to press E to harvest (which I did to no avail). I was able to harvest corn and flax just fine.

- I put all of my buildings 1 increment above the ship deck, and it seemed to confuse the NPCs a bit. Summer got stuck on the lowest building level when trying to leave for Hummingberg, so I left without her and she teleported there. Atul also struggled a bit to get to his house, which I moved to be above the field/gardens, and eventually he just hopped in the water and then teleported up there. At other times he did fine. Not a big deal, just a little funky.

- The fishing game seemed much too difficult during storms? I was able to catch fish in normal weather, but during storms the fishing rod would turn red very quickly, seemingly every 2-3 seconds. I tried ~10 times but always ended up losing the fish. I might just be bad at fishing, but maybe others have had a similar issue.

Despite these little issues, the demo was wonderful and I'm waiting in anticipation for the full game! Thanks, Spiritfarer team. :)
Beautiful game so far ... BUT... i have an actually very good performing macbookpro from 2014 and the game stops with its graphics so i cant precisely interact with Stella, the is no "game flow", it is just annoying, and the worst of all: my macbookpro's RPM for cooling the CPU Cores and the SSD is at maximum speed ... although i deactivated in the options the high-performin graphic options. So sorry, because the game seems to be very lovely - but not relaxing at all when you expecting your macbookpro burst out in flames every second ...

Confused me at first too, but I seem to remember it said tap? Anyway repeated tugs eventually got the carrots out. They are apparently stubborn.

Certain fish are indeed quite difficult. Even with rapid reeling in whenever the line went slack. I eventually landed this one sole after a few minutes of fishing, but it seemed a bit excessive given speed of other game tasks. IMO that sort of difficulty should be for something cooler.

Other thoughts... the town buildings were a liiiittle repetitive. But I'm sure they are hard at work making content. I wonder if it'll be possible to explore more of the island interior later.

Oh, and kudos to the team on the localisation, which seems to be hooked up already. Quite a polished demo.

Performs quite well for me on both my linux machines here... I'm personally quite sympathetic to older hardware having quite a lot of it. (IMO the Note 4 was the peak of Samsung phones). I do wonder though if the laptop might need some maintenance? Over 8 years dust build up might obstruct cooling and cause throttling?
