Anyone play it yet? I'm waiting for the reviews to drop.

Seems to be fairly broken right now and in dire need of some quick patching. I hope they'll get to it, I really wanna see more games by the guys behind E.Y.E.: Divine Cybermancy. Or more 40k games that aren't RTs.

Damn, I loved the original on DOS.

The gameplay seems to be good, but it seems to have pretty bad optimization right now

Quite a few (a majority perhaps) of those giving poor review scores based on supposed bad optimization, are running it on toasters and calculators. At the same time they freak out if their frame-rates drop below 30 on ultra settings. Most recently people were complaining about Deus Ex: Mankind Divided. When I loaded it up I experienced no issues at all, which once again suggests that the whole "issue" is hardware related. It is simply unreasonable to expect the newest games to run perfectly on old/cheap hardware.

So I'd take those complaints with a grain of salt. "Unoptimized" is very often a euphemism for "I have a crappy computer."
