zahidur59: I signed up with GOG to see if I can find some Good old games for nostalgic value but can seems to filter by published year so I am wondering if there is a way to do that. I search the forum real quick but couldn't find any related post also so sorry if this is a repeated post.
nightcraw1er.488: Look on the wish list:
https://www.gog.com/wishlist/site It isn’t as easy as just released year as releases get different dates worldwide, different version, remakes, dlc etc.
Also, the site is NOT Good Old Games, it is GOG. Old is different for different groups (as is good and even game nowadays). Better to search on type of game you want then see what appeals in that filter rather than limiting by time.
Thanks for the response. I really appreciate it. For some reason I though GOG stands for Good old games! But anyway, thanks again,
toxicTom: There is no filter, but you can go from here:
https://www.gog.com/games?sort=release_asc&page=1 Thanks. That's one way to do it. (Y)
§pectre: Even then they may not list correctly if they have been updated or rereleased.
Not drag or get into an argument but there could be a first released year or something like that. I wanted to find all the games released in 90z. I don't have a particular game it mind but just wanted to browse through the games from that era hopping some might trigger my nostalgia.
Gudadantza: Not exactly by year, but you can filter/sort the store results with "older first".
Thanks Gudadantza

mrkgnao: I'm not sure whether you want to sort by release date (as in the title) or filter by it (as in your post), but you can do both using MaGog:
http://www.an-ovel.com/pages/magog.php Here is, for example, MaGog's output for games released no later than 31 December 1999, sorted by ascending release date (link mangled by GOG's forum software, so copy-paste, without the and , instead of clicking):

Disclaimer:
MaGog does not cover games added to GOG in the last year or so (a sliding window, updated once a month).
Thanks mrkgnao. This is exactly what I was looking for.
