tinyE: First Capcom game I ever played was Trojan.

I sucked beyond suck at it, but my friends could fly through it.

I don't think I could take trying to play it again.

They need a remake of that...it was my favorite Capcom game until they released Street Fighter
in the arcades.

I was a hard game but I memorized the patterns - remember waking up an hour early for school each morning
to try and finish it

When my friend and I played two-player battle I was often times able to turn my head and beat him.

As for the Op

The Capcom games are becoming too DLC-heavy
Even with Galaxy I still don't like the way that GOG manages DLC
although it's much better than UPlay which doesn't even tell you there's DLC
and makes you really scour for it.

And then there's Koei - another awesome company during the Playstation 2 era but
a monster panhandler nowadays in the digital-download world

I want to see the PC versions of Resident Evil 1-3 on GOG, plus Dino Crisis 1 & 2.
For me, a Resident Evil re-release (the original one, I don't give a shit about remasters of classics) would be spectacular and the first day-one purchase of my life.

Not sure about on Windows 10, but RE1 PC works on Windows 7 if put if compatibility mode for Win95. RE2 requires a bit of fenagling because it uses an old file system for saving (FAT instead of NTFS I think). RE3: Nemesis works fine out of the box, actually the PC version of RE3 is the best because it has higher resolutions than the PS1 version which is only 640x480.

ReynardFox: The next game? They haven't even bothered to patch Dragon's Dogma yet...
This has me a tad worried as well. The latest patch was released just over one month ago. Does GOG follow up with developers at all when it comes to patches? This is not some small indie game either. This is arguably GOG's biggest Japanese game.

I know it works on modern systems, in fact I have been able to install and play the first two "Resi" on all my systems - from a Pentium 4 (ME-XP) onward. BUT: did you check the price of an original, sealed Resident Evil 1 offer on eBay? Really: I still need my kidneys :-D

FutureSuture: A far less likely but equally anticipated candidate would be Monster Hunter: World for me. Can GOG make it happen?

ReynardFox: I'm sure GOG would like to, but they aren't the issue. It's ALL on Crapcom.
Judging from some of the developers I have spoken to, as well as GOG's rejection of certain quality titles, GOG can very much be the issue, although I doubt they would have the gall to reject a game as big as Monster Hunter: World in this case. I really want Capcom to make it happen after they surprised us all with Dragon's Dogma: Dark Arisen, but it being a brand new title makes it so very unlikely.
