Hello!

I can't make a good riddle to save my life, but I tried my best. I'll be back tomorrow with the answers. For each riddle you have to guess what the game is. The questions/answers might contain spoilers.

1) Is it moral or mortal? I can't tell the difference because I'm a dullard.

2) In this province cats are actually hated.

3) There's not enough PPE to contain this biohazard.

4) On a dark Halloween knight, Jason came back for revenge.

5) A map cannot help these iron age warriors.

6) There's nothing holy about this ring.

7) Seventeen years later, players still answer the call.

8) The inmates run this bat infested asylum.
No idea tbh.
2) the Wing Commander games? Don't you shoot evil space cats in them?
3) somehow makes me think of Day of the tentacle.
But really no idea...I'm either too stupid for your riddles or I haven't played enough games. Or maybe both?

EDIT: 8) is probably Batman: Arkham asylum though (which I've never played and have zero interest in playing).
7) is Call of duty (never played that either...isn't it some kind of patriotic propaganda game?).

You might be thinking of America's Army.

Edit: There's also a game that was meant to be a recruitment thing for the PMC Blackwater.

lol, wonder if one can shoot civilians at traffic junctions in that one.
Anyway, very nice idea for a thread, thanks!
3 - resident evil, was called biohazard originally?
4 - Friday the 13th
7 - call of duty
8 - Arkham asylum, part of the Arkham trilogy.
Could 2 be Skyrim? Apparently Nords are very racist toward Khajiit (cat-like people).
Hello again!

I will post the answers in bold and the explanation in ordinary text, to make it easier if you want to see the answers but skip the explanation. I know you aren't supposed to explain a joke, but does that apply to riddles too?

1) Mortal Kombat

Mortal Kombat started a moral panic when it came out. It also has this code: down, up, left, left, A, right, down; AKA the "dullard" code.

2) Skyrim

Regions are referred to as provinces. The khajiit is a cat race, and they aren't allowed in cities.

3) Resident Evil

It's called Biohazard in Japan.

4) Arkham Knight

Who is the dark knight? Batman. It's also the only superhero game I know of that takes place on Halloween. The name was a bonus clue if you played through the game.

5) Lost Vikings

Who needs a map? Someone who's lost. The iron age started around 500 BCE, which is roughly the same time vikings popped up.

6) Halo

Angels have halos, which are pretty much holy circles. The game also has several biblical references.

7) Call of Duty

Answering the call of duty is a phrase. The game also came out in in 2003, which is 17 years ago as of this posting.

8) Arkham Asylum

Not much to explain, as this is the most obvious riddle.

I would like to thank everyone for playing!

4 was intentionally misleading. Thanks for playing!
