[RESOLVED] See Update #4 for full details. Sorry for the false alarm.

Hello everyone!

It seems the Redeem system still has a delay, in that the redeemed game doesn't show up right away in the game Library or Orders & settings page. GOG team has already post about the issue and are working to resolve it.

But it seems the game I claimed a few mins ago, while not showing up while using Chrome Browser via my desktop pc, does show up in GOG Galaxy Library.

So, if you need the game right away, you can use Galaxy to download it or install it. Bear in mind, I may have gotten lucky or this really does work. So, I'm just posting it as an option that people can try.

I know it's not ideal for those that don't like Galaxy, but it is an option for getting offline installers right away (assuming my case wasn't just a fluke).

I only use Galaxy for the offline installers myself and I was able to download the game I received a few minutes ago.

P.S. I will try the refresh account method that people have mentioned and see if that works. Will update the post and link it here. I believe it's an official method GOG posted (don't quote me though lol) to refresh the user account page.

Neither of these options work in this particular case. Tested both and games are still not in my Library while logged into GOG via Chrome Browser on a desktop pc.

Update #1: It's been about 45 minutes and still hasn't shown up in the non-Galaxy method via Google Chrome. I believe people have reported it taking up to 4 hours or so. It probably isn't worth trying to keep track, but I'll try if I can, got things to do after all lol.

Update #2: It's been a little over 4 hours and still hasn't shown up in my Library or the Orders & settings page (non-Galaxy Chrome Browser). I think this will be my last update, but likely it'll show up soon.

When I claimed my Amazon code, it didn't take as long (maybe due to less traffic?), so it could be the time of day where the traffic on the Redeem page is much higher. But this is all pure speculation. =P

Update #3: I wasn't planning on updating this post, but it's been 24+ hours and the game still hasn't shown up in my Library using Chrome Browser on a desktop pc. As I mentioned, it showed up fine on the Galaxy app Library. That is seriously some delay lol.

Update #4: Ok, it seems I made a huge mistake here lol. A supervisor from a past job once told me to never assume anything or it'll make an @SS out of U and ME lol. Well, that's exactly what happened to me.

The game SPAZ that I redeemed was a code donated to the 6th giveaway hosted by BenKii. It turns out that the game was purchased a while back, hence if was much further down the list in my Library and on my Orders & settings page.

So I assumed incorrectly that it would show up at the top of my list since it was the most recently claimed game. Anyway, the issue has been resolved. But I will leave this post as is to help others avoid the mistake I made. :)

Anyway, the redeem system seems to be working fine. Sorry for the trouble GOG team!

I only had this issue once but thank for the work around.
