EDIT: Don't bother. The servers be empty.


My brain did a funny thing and remembered a mediocre game from my past that I really loved (I have a habit of loving mediocre games).

So I did some googling around and sure enough, people are still playing it!

You just play a 2d soldier and battle it out sort of Battlefield-style. I remember a capture the flag map I played dozens of times and you could be an assault soldier, grenadier, medic and general. I really learned the flow of battle by playing a medic and when I finally decided to play a general (you get a shotgun and you become a spawn point), I could play the game like it was chess for my team (except I'm horrible at chess).

Anyhoots, I'm downloading now. Will probably play for a few days before I uninstall unless it's just amazing. But if you want a blast from the past, the game does seem to work for folks still!

Is it working in Windows 10 yet? I tried playing the game a few months ago but it just wouldn't run (on Win10 or Linux Wine). I really liked this game when I was younger as it was pretty much the only* online multiplayer game I could play outside of Diablo 2.

RE: Well it works on Windows 10 now awesome! Though sadly no one is playing at the momement, I'll check back now and then, hopefully I can get a game with players :)
