Memecchi: There are good erotic games that Kagura publishes, and good RPGs too, you probably bought one blindly which isn't advised
I'm sure there are. Depending on tastes.

Guess it depends more on what the focus is though. Eroge visual novels tend to basically be erotica, while RPG games have offshoots that involve mostly optional sexual sequences which can be ignored and a story still uncovered that can be quite fun.

example: Imperial Gatekeeper. Take Papers Please, but instead of being stuck at one gate with increasing difficulty you are instead sent to different areas, and you could decide to feel up the girls (or guys) (which may be required to convince them to leave their weapon behind when there's a weapon ban). Choose to sexually take advantage of, or be the paragon of virtue and go by the book. Or be a total asshole and take advantage before denying them.

On the other spectrum Succubus Farm a male is caught and trying to escape, get caught or lose and there's an erotic scene. Not very avoidable, and you're more likely to intentionally lose to see what ending it will show you.

It was the only one that looked halfway interesting :o)

But if you name two or three you consider to be good, I can check them out.
Just no VNs. Japanese VNs with character overlays over static backgrounds are the worst (also in JRPGs I prefer text bubbles).

Less is more, none would be better.
Gog needs that freebie by the helmsman.....a certain seth made a very enlightening video about it. Very classy ;)

....on a side note I would laugh myself silly if gog got it here! Steam has it.

Personally I'm mostly interested in games that let you develop your mc in different ways (pure/corrupted) and that offer some build variety on top of that, I'd recommend checking out Celesphonia and Samurai Vandalism for that

Demons Roots is also a fantastic package, but it's a more traditional JRPG, and the porn while used for the sake of the narrative is really secondary... uhh tertiary even lol

thanks, I'll check them out.
According to discord messages:
"GOG have been pretty vocal about not accepting more titles from us as they want to focus on other things."
"what did you do to piss them off?"
"Nothing. They just seem not keen on adult content."
"We're not going to fight them on it, it's what they said to us via email when we asked about getting our backlog of games up on their platform."

It's just temporary though.
Once things have turned back to normal (which granted could take a few years by the looks of it) business relations (with Kagura and other publishers) are going to be picked up again.
I suspected as much, but it makes you wonder what those "other things" are, because we're not getting anything remarkable to justify ignoring a business partner like Kagura

Like, I could maybe see it if GOG was bringing more mainstream titles but that's not the case at all lol notable dream list releases are super few and far between, and we're getting LESS old-ish triple A games than years ago
Links within links.

We got Breath of Fire IV (and iirc Dino Crisis 2 very early in the year), and special classic releases like that take extra long time (and I wouldn't be surprised if GOG is focusing most of their resources on releases like those). I agree with what you said after though about getting fewer older AAA games; it is unfortunate, maybe it's GOG suffering from EGS now being the "#2" store. But at least we got the new version of Dawn of War and Hexen+Heretic, and Devil May Cry games at the start of the Summer Sale.

For me, Doom 2016 has been the most exciting release this year so far.
I would have preferred to buy my Kagura games through GOG, rather than on Steam or via Paypal.
