RedRagan: Because I'm that idiot who placed a lot of games in my basket. Then proceed to forget to pay until the timer runs out.
They really should have an extended time limit for games that are in your cart or give a popup warning 30 minutes before time runs out.

I've been bitten a couple of times in the past.

---------------------------------------------------------------

I bought some games (26) and some movies (4).

Oh ...... you want details ..... well ....

On the 27th of November, which is the day before the big sale started ... I think ... I started off by getting the following.

Disjunction Demo
Iron Harvest Demo

Then a bit later on the same day, I actually paid some money and got.

Prey _ 8.99
Feudal Alloy _ 4.79
Prey - Mooncrash _ 8.99
Ghost 1.0 _ 5.59
SEUM: The Drunk Side of the Moon _ 1.79
SEUM: Speedrunners from Hell _ 3.79

Then on the 28th which is when I think the big sale started, I got the following eighteen.

Hellblade: Senua's Sacrifice _ 6.79
War for the Overworld: Crucible _ 0.00
Heritage of Kings: The Settlers™ _ 3.79
Still Life 2 _ 1.19
Post Mortem _ 1.19
Way of the Samurai 3 - Deluxe Edition 4.69
Pillars of Eternity: Definitive Edition _ 6.89
Star Wolves 3: Civil War _ 1.39
Batman™: Arkham Origins - Season Pass _ 7.29
Crookz - The Big Heist _ 2.49
Hector: Badge of Carnage - Full Series _ 2.19
Puzzle Agent 2 _ 1.50
Way of the Samurai 4 _ 5.29
Way of the Samurai 4: DLC Pack _ 2.09
Batman™: Arkham Origins _ 7.29
Stranglehold _ 3.29
Telltale Batman Shadows Edition _ 11.49
War for the Overworld: Underlord Edition _ 4.39

Then on the 29th I got the following six.

Batman™: Arkham Knight Premium Edition _ 14.29
UFO: Afterlight _ 1.99
Atlantis 2: Beyond Atlantis _ 0.79
FTL: Advanced Edition _ 2.79
AI War Collection _ 3.59
Last Rites _ 6.69

Then on December 1st I got the following 2 games, 4 movies.

Pixel Poetry Special Edition _ 1.19
Austin High _ 1.69
Angry Video Game Nerd: The Movie _ 2.79
Shardlight _ 4.29
Pilgrims _ 4.19
Fechtbuch: The Real Swordfighting behind Kingdom Come _ 0.59

I also got the following demo later that day.

Carto Demo

So a nice haul overall by my reckoning, and I managed to complete some series.

One thing to note about the Batman games.
Like many, I had what Epic gave away a while back (two trilogies), but what they gave away was incomplete for Batman™: Arkham Knight, just the standard version, and I wanted the extras, so after long consideration I decided to buy it in the Premium Version at GOG, which all things considered wasn't too bad a price. They also don't have and didn't provide Batman Origins and the Telltale games weren't included at Epic. Now supposedly I have all, Lego ones included.

I have no idea whether the versions at Epic are DRM-Free, so maybe I should have gotten the other two Batman games from the trilogy again, especially at such fair prices. Anyway, I do have them at Epic, so there is that.

Pretty good game. I have it on Steam. GTA on mars. Not as immersive though. But yeah pretty good. However I was dissapointed that the destruction wasn't as impressive as RF1. Geo mod (RF1 destruction engine) is awesome and it's still fascinating to date. You can literally dig a hole kilometres deep and fall to your death.

On Guerilla it's more like battlefield 3, but lesser. You can't alter the landscape, only destroy buildings.

RF1 is one of the few games that kept my interest and I actually finish multiple times ages ago. I wanted to buy it but eh I figure I should just buy games that I never played before. If you haven't play it, it's a must have.

Not sure about Armageddon. And avoid Red Faction 2.

Pillars of eternity definitive edition is coming to epic store.

Also I think mostly epic store games is DRM free, unlike steamworks. But the publisher are free to implement their own DRM for games they sold on epic.

Anyway I wonder how you find things like Fechtbuch: The Real Swordfighting behind Kingdom Come

I wouldn't even able to spell the title correctly. Looks interesting.

Oh and feudal alloy looks interesting too.

I go to Epic late Thursday night early Friday morning, so I saw that then, but as I have said elsewhere I don't mind.

Not sure about that, I have read mixed reports and not checked any yet myself and I have a few hundred now.

Well I saw a thread here mentioning a few movies were well discounted, so I went to that section. There's not many movies there now, as that same thread mentioned half of them were being removed from GOG, and they were gone by the time I saw it ... not that any of the leaving ones were discounted.

On a rare day I check the Movie section, but even rarer are any a decent price .... way over-priced in fact, and I don't think GOG ever sells many.
Bugger & Naff. Before the sale I bought Hypnospace, after I bought the remade Sam & Max.
