Talking about those of you who are hanging around for each game in the Insomnia promo sale.

Personally, I am busy doing other stuff, and just check back at GOG on the hour.
While I am away from my PC, not checking out the Insomnia games or typing in Forum threads, the PC is busy copying game backup files from one external portable drive to another. While it does that, I am either reading a book or doing some household chores or something else ... maybe even a snooze here and there at some point ... not to mention getting food and drink and conversing with others.

Unlike some I do have more than one game I am after in this promo, 8 in fact, one of which I have already grabbed.

So what are you doing while waiting?

Are some of you going to stay up most of the 24 hours if you need to? Just over 23 hours in reality. I'm not.

Not buying anything because I can't right now, but I'm checking from time to time out of curiosity.

While coming and going, studying coding and trying to solve some problems in a study project I'm attending to.
Mainly in Java, Html, Css and Javascript, while hearing some music for focus. lol :P

I personally prefer to not have distractions while coding, but I guess you should have a regular break now and then.

If I happen to see something of interest while I'm on the site I might grab something, but I'm not waiting around for jack shit. The whole FOMO deal bullshit disgusts me frankly. Never was a fan of this insomnia garbage.

@Mr.Mumbles - Can't say i blame you, but in my case at least, I am here anyway doing forum posts or other stuff on my PC, and just look in after the hour has passed each time. I certainly won't be screwing up my sleep, anymore than it already is, for the Insomnia promo games. I certainly won't let it take over my day and night.

I'm also enjoying reading a good book, and a little break to check GOG each hour is about right.

Nothing really. As all the games are just going to be a repeat of what we've already had in the 6 hour windows, there are no games for me to miss because I'm not interested in any of them or already own them.

I kill time by watching the paint on the wall spinning, and my washing machine drying up.

Who is waiting for those mediocre discounts? Due to the inflation Gog decided to avoid selling games for cheap, but to beef up the hype of mediocre discounts by glamourising it with a special label. This time it is the called the Insomnia Sale. Other day it will be called something else.
