I don't know if any of you have heard of the recent surreal art game, The Lady (http://store.steampowered.com/app/341060), but yesterday I was contacted by the developer MPRartHallucinations (https://twitter.com/MPRartLLC), and asked if I would be interested in being the programmer/co-designer for his next game, The Grandfather (http://www.mprart.net/the-grandfather-dev-blog/). And I've taken him up on the offer.

So... that's something a few of you might be interested in :D

Apparently the development won't be full time, so I will still have time to work on my own projects.
Congrats! Looks VERY interesting!
Interesting development.

Good luck and I'll be keeping an eye on it.
May your debugging tools highlight the correct problems. *sprinkles water on YO HEAD*

Hey, I have an autoharp like the one from the soundtrack too, very useful to have around if you need beautiful chords or effects at a session. If you know someone that needs a multi-instrumentalist (mostly hurdy-gurdy, baritone singing, border pipes, autoharp, framedrums, melodica) for making a nice soundtrack, message me. ;)

I think I will do that, actually.
I've actually been meaning to pick up The Lady, for a while it was on sale nearly every other day on ShinyLoot.

Congrats on your new position, may the game make the both of you filthy stinking rich, or at least creatively fulfilled!
*thumbs up* Good luck, have fun making the game and here's hoping for smooth sailing and many many sales!
Congrats man! I hope you have fun with the project.
Congrats!
I'm nervous about collaborating on a project... but since it's not actually my "baby," I think it might go ok.
Cool!
Danish..?

(Unless it be Norwegian, but I think not - my largely and inexcusably forgotten skol-svenska be nonetheless forgiven)

Good on you, to get unto a Scandinavian project; and besides, getting unto one at all!

I meanwhile wonder why this grandfather would be so tormented by the coldness of his wife, now, then, when apparently some grand-kiddies have been put forth.

That is a good point!

I hope you can make a game from whatever is given to you - I got "the lady" myself and didnt really enjoy it on any level other than the art - which, to be honest, I thought needed a little polishing. granted, it was an indie game in a (very) niche kind of place, but I did feel I should have connected with it / enjoyed it more somehow.
