Slight confirmation tweet (From MrFortyFive)

Will we get it? I think it officially released today.
I did some scouring and found that the devs were interested in bringing it here at some point...but we've all seen interest from devs many times before.

Looks pretty fun, great reviews overall.
The only card video game I've played is Gwent. Which is fun, but not single player. And I guess I'm not interested enough to get Thronebreaker.

e:Steam page added, sorry people.
e2:Also added GOG wishlist and gameplay vids. Thanks to wolfsite. I hope people at least check it out.

You could have provided a link or something.

It looks rather interesting. I like games that use some sort of CCG mechanic. I usually suck at "real" multiplayer CCGs because they require a level of commitment and almost academic research I'm just now willing to put into them, and hence can't compete with people who do, but a single player game is something much more manageable.

I'm even more hopefull about GOG getting Steamworld Quest, because I absolutely loves Steamworld Heist, so I expect a game of similiar high quality.
A card game? That is clearly too niche for GOG. It also only has 23k reviews on Steam, so who would even buy it?

Sarcasm aside, I've been watching the game for around a year now and at least that has been pretty fun.
Here is the wishlist

Here is a video series Projared did with an earlier build of the game (crap it's been almost a year already)

The thing is GOG does not like publishing games that are in the early access/ phase for several reasons.
Now when Slay the Spire has 1.0 version, then it will come to GOG.

I mean, they do have their very own version of "Early Access" on the store, "In-Dev" or whatever they called it. Not sure when they last added an In-Dev game for purchase... ? But I suppose they could instead wait to release such games here, until everyone and their grandma already bought a copy on Steam.
This is one of the best games I have personally played in the last 5 years.

They could aim to be the first to release the game at a certain discount.

Well I said they don't like, not that they are not doing it at all. The thing is GOG needs and supposes to implement their own early access system, but if you asked about it, they would say they work at it and they will release this year. And that how it goes every year and the only progress are in-devs, but rather they are warnings that game is not finished.
