Hello! I bought the latest version of Skyrim 1179 with AE, installed as before and the game closes even in the start menu. I tried everything described on the site, reinstallation, settings, direct x, drivers, doe and other... and nothing works. I play without mods, but I also tried with the recommended ones - unofficial skyrim SE patch and unofficial skyrim CC patch. I love this game and wanna play it again...any guesses? And thanks! ( sorry for my bad english )

You say "as before". Does that mean you still have the Skyrim folder in Documents? If so, the settings .ini files there may be causing issues.

I can assure you, this is not a software issue as almost nobody got this issue, so i guess either your download is broken or there is a issue with your system.

If you do not use mods, 1.6.1179 is fine, but if you want to use mods you could be out of luck because 1.6.659 is way better supported by some critical mods.

Depending on your video card type or brand, try setting up a specific profile for Skyrim and fiddle with the settings.
Stuff like v-sync, godrays, refresh rate, etc
