BanditKeith2: My guess? Its because of the Oblivion remaster that had been shadow dropped elsewhere this year and thats why .. Granted I actually have the o,g Oblivion game but was tempted to get the remastered version one it dropped in price to be dirt cheap on storefront thats not drm-free. so getting this total conversion mod showing up here actually makes me now only going to get the remaster when it shows up on a drm-free storefront so long as this conversion mod keeps worker
syscrusher: TBH, I don't expect GOG to get the Oblivion Remaster anytime soon. For the same reason why Steam, so far, shows no indication of getting this Skyblivion mod. GOG having the remaster would invite folks to circulate it among friends and Steam offering Skyblivion could be seen as undercutting sales of the remaster. Funny how this goes.
If this ''circulate it among friends '' thing is you saying actually sharing the offline installers for a Oblivion Remaster if it comes here .. Then that speaks more about you and how you view people who buy Drm-free games here and the ffew other drm-free storefronts that one has similar offers to be had as doing on the regular as most do not do that or what you and/or your friend group would do .. as most people don't treat Drm-free games that way
Though I can agree that I doubt it'll come here any time soon if ever and also why Steam wouldn't have Skyblivion..
That and its also such a large mod size ods are Steam and Gog are like the only ones who'd be willing to host such mods
