Very interested in the title. Gave the demo a try:
- Graphics(text to read) is a real pain in the eyes on a large(42") 4k monitor. Pixel art is OK however VGA (or half VGA?) put on top of 4k is no good!
- The CRT filter helps the readability a lot however it adds a random dot noise the ancient CRTs had. Now I had a second source of eyestrains. Played the demo for 5 min and left it with a headache...

-> Please, add a relevant filter or a font option that makes the game playable on a modern days monitor. Many thanks!
So, what's changed in this current release?

I tried what was the current demo just before this release, and there were a few things I didn't like:
* The game did not run acceptably on my small laptop, even though it looks like the sort of game that should. (By contrast, both Nox Archaist and Realms of Antiquity run just fine, despite the extra emulation lair.)
* I don't like how long winded character creation is. It feels unlike games of the era the game seems to be meant to represent.
* One thing that, in the version I tried, the game did not make clear, is that you need to spend all the feat points on a skill to actually learn it. I think it would be better if feat points would be spent all at once to learn a new ability, and that feat points could be saved for later.

Good to see that there's an actual release date in sight!
I do not share your concept of soon, good sir...

...you’ll experience this richly illustrated world of authentic pixel art, [...] using a palette inspired by the legendary Commodore 64 computer.
Man...that color palette evokes memories of my youth.
I love it!
Demo looks and plays great. I really hope the price will not be to high.
Ok, now that was a trailer!

Some high produuction value with a live action segment leading into punchy clips of gameplay.

Had been mildly interested.

Now?

As close to excited for a video game as I can get at my age. ;)

Thank you for sharing your impressions! It helps.

I was wondering whether, if they already added a CRT filter, they might add a line scan filter. I know they are not for everyone, but for this player, they help a lot with SNES-era games in modern screens (arguably, those games were designed with these cathodic ray tube screens in mind, and the absence of every other line somehow softens the resulting perceived image, from a distance (also taken into account for SNES). Maybe it would do the trick for this game too, especially if you can sit a bit away from that large flat screen?
I backed this on Indiegogo in 2019, and I'm looking forward to it. I am a little afraid of legibilty/visual issues, though. The original graphics of the crowdfunding campaign were somehow clearer, easier on the eye, than what the trailer shows now.
This looks right up my alley, have wishlisted it.
