Is the a way to make the font larger in the forums and GoG Galaxy?

On the forums just increase the font size in your browser. Hold the Ctrl key on your keyboard and scroll the mouse wheel.

Galaxy, though, probably not.

It's the width that matters.

Not really, 4 Galaxy u can make the resolution bigger if ur desktop resolution is smaller. As in instead of say 1920 x 1080, u set it as 1600 x 900.

Changing desktop resolution just to increase the font size in a single application seems rather excessive.

I am not sure I ever had this problem. Things seem to scale fairly well most of the time. I have a 2560x1440 screen at home (running Windows) and a 3440x1440 screen at work (running MacOS.) So far I don't recall having to ever change resolution.

Most browsers have a zoom factor that works, some even work per website, not just global. I have the zoom factor at 125%.

Me also, I find even FHD is too small 4 my liking. So i dun think reducing the resolution is excessive in any way. However, i dun recommend 'downgrading' the resolution too much as excessive while making fonts bigger wld make everything become too blury as well. Thus my recommendation of 1600 x 900 which i think wld be clear enough yet provide the 'upgrade' in font & it's readability. ;)

I don't know... I still kinda think that changing the resolution to alter the font size is akin to treating the common cold by putting a patient into an induced coma.

Gotta agree. Unfortunately 99% of the web designers out there either are clueless or purposely do not code for accessibility. They would rather have a pretty website.

One of the local companies I work for, the previous manager worked her butt off on their website. Gave her a 10 minute lecture on SEO and how to write content. Website was highly ranked in search results.

New owner took over, had a local photographer crank out a nothing but pictures website and can't understand why our rankings dropped.

Or, you could set the OS scaling, meaning you could simultaneously get the full image detail from the monitor's native resolution, and the scaled font size you can read (usually also scaled widgets and window decoration, depending on how your OS handles the scaling).

I haven't found one, but it seems strange that quite a few of these games (and gamers in general) are now part of the 40+ crowd, which is also about when everyone develops some form of farsightedness.

I want my graphics to render crisp in native resolution, just the text for these forums to be a bit bigger... and that's a common enough thing that every app should have. (No really - it's actually part of the disability guidelines of most countries)
