so is it uncut? and does it stay uncut if one sets the language to german?

I only played the English version and that looked very much uncut (had mutilation of human opponents in it and everything). It sux ballz tho, so don't waste your money. Or at least wait for a massive discount. This had probably the worst FOV I've ever come across in any game. Since you can't change the default settings, you'll have to download widescreenfixer to change it to something that will not make you nauseous.

i have an english disk version of it. and i know that there is a way to patch the english disk version to an uncut german version. but i can't find the patch anymore. since gog blocked its version and offers ingame german language, i assumed that the gog version is a patched too.

According to ogdb.eu, the German languiage version on GOG is still censored.

Of course, I can't confirm whether or not the info on there is accurate, so take it with a grain of salt.

Just tested it. Even though it is the same installer no matter the language you chose the game is censored the moment you switch it to German. It seems to be the same on Steam and there does not seem to be any uncut patch to play the game in German AND uncut. The only difference between both versions seem to be the executable. The GOG version has a subfolder containing both executables and depending on the language you chose one of those will be renamed and copied to the game folder.

well if someone knows where to get the uncut patch for singularity, please pm me.

i know there was a uncut patch for those who have the english disk version, the patch somehow changed the language to german, but the game stayed uncut. all links for that patch that i found on the net were offline.

If there WAS such a patch I will try to find it because I would be interested in such a patch as well and if we cannot find such a patch maybe we can rebuild it. If I should find out anything new I will post it here.

This patch still exists on schote - only the link is faulty. I downloaded it yesterday and will see if it works with the GOG version today. As promised I'll keep you informed.
