filintorodrigues: Simcity is a great game.........i have played simcity 2000 and i enjoyed very much.......in the game i didnt know we could make ads to change peoples minds.........i never make ads.......i changed taxes.....i like simulations a lot.......but what i see in new games that come out.....is just better graphics.....maybe new A.I. so that we dont be bored with the game..............seen just those better graphics.............
jmar85: I remember playing this back when I was 10 (I'm 24 now) great game and now play Cities Skylines + expansions because Maxis has lost my honor and respect. In a few ways such as colour especially and the soundtracks of that time back in 1997. But this GOG version is terrible... fucking shit. I have an unofficial CD rip of the actual CD, it runs fine on my Asus X205T Netbook running Win 10 Home, 32 bit based and SD card maindrive. Without DOSbox. Without some-kind of 3rd-party emulation shit. Saving and using different tile-sets do not work in my method though in default as it just exits without a crash report. Still better than this paid GOG stuff.
That's incredibly useful, thank you. Silly old me would have gone and filed a support ticket for GOG to investigate why their version on your machine does not work as it should. But what I should have done is find a post from 2 years ago, necro that, and post a whole mass of swear words, and abuse at GOG. Problem solved.
