Forgive my numb mind and laziness here.

I know that certain games that if you bought the hard copy of and if GoG has it here, you can get the GoG version of it added to your catalog. Now here is where things will get either strange or odd.

I have Neverwinter Nights 2 and the expansions. The Mac vesion of NWN2 and the PC expansion DVDs. This was of course a long time ago so if I am right. They will not run on my new iMac I have. I used to play on my core 2 duo MBP.

The 2nd expansion DVD was ok on running but I had all sorts of problems getting the 3rd one running. Long story short. Couldn't play it. I no longer have my MBP because it has died. Would love to play NWN 2 with the 3rd expansion.

My question is this.
Could I use my code I have to get the GoG version of NWN 2 and expansions? If so that would be great. My next problem would be to get it to run on my Mac. Because the main DVD of NWN2 was for the Mac I could add the PC expansions (with some headaches) directly on my Mac. But GoG's would be PC only. I don't have Windows or Bootcamp. So I am pondering how to replay the GoG NWN2 saga on my Mac.

Any help or advice besides 1. Getting a PC and 2. using Windows would be great.. The options of buying a PC or buying Windows are not available.

Thanks again for taking the time to read and help me once again here.
Short answer? No, you can't use your game code that you got with the physical disks to get a GOG code. You need to buy the game here to get it here.

Thanks for the quick reply.

OK. If I do pony up and buy the GOG one here. Any thoughts on how to get it run on a Mac?
Place a smaller computer atop the Mac. Run Windows on the smaller computer. Technically your game is running on a Mac.

Sorry. No, I have no idea. I could fumble through to a solution if you were using *NIX but I never use Apple since I never need what it's best at. Maybe some Google-fu?

Thanks again for the links. Will do some digging. Was hoping some Mac users or possible PC user actually did what I am thinking but no problem. Off to Google land I go.
