Atlantico: Every DA game had fetch quests and sidequests.

Only DA:I is 95% fetchqests, 5% main quests. Kill ten rams, return. Quest complete.

And almost all sidequests are fetchquests.

It's so shallow, so cheap, so boring.
This. If you compare it to the first game, it's really boring. And i'm not even talking about the gameplay (gah).
I don't get it...how could anyone say that this game is better than the first one sigh.

Atlantico: So claiming that "there's so much to do" is a technically correct statement, there's easily 150 hours of fetch quests, material gathering and hiking
That sounds like Skyrim critique!

I need that game in my life.

I never played Skyrim, I can just vouch for DA:I being a vapid theme-park ride with little to no creativity, shallow gameplay and no modding to speak of.

I already put over 120 hours into it, and I really, really dislike playing with mods which don't fit into the lore.

Better a mod from a fantasy background (Lich King) than a Sci Fi one (Lightsabers :P)
Do not buy this game, do not even take as a gift.

You know how many hours I've put into Skyrim.... into DA:I it's about 133. Which includes a second playthrough to get a few achievements I missed. Last time played: December 13. The only reason it's still installed, is the giant cliffhanger at the end of the game, pointing towards a coming expansion / DLC.

It's not that it's a bad game and I enjoyed my time with it but for a honest comparison, I'd put it a lot closer to Elder Scrolls Online than to Skyrim.

I liked Dragon Age: Inquisition a lot. Finished it on nightmare difficulty earlier this month. I played it on the Xbox One though, so I never had any problems with bad controls or poor nVidia-optimization.

There's a lot of great places to explore, and the main quest is pretty good. The side-quests aren't that bad, but they can get repetetive, of course. One of the best side-activities was slaying dragons. I can understand that this is not a game for everyone, but personally, I enjoyed it a lot. I have around 80 hours in it now, I'll be getting back to it soon to grab some remaining achievements.
Another review for the game:

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=HvaGjp-eMhI
So in three months since launch, this had 2 major discounts: 40% (around Christmas 2014) and a 30% in january 2015....Things must be bright on the sales point.

And it looks like Sims 4 it's in the same boat. Lots of Free Time, tons of discounts....Titanfall and Battlefield 4 are not the success stories that EA wanted.

Most of corporations seem to be completely disconnected of reality. Activision, Ubi, hell, even Bethesda (they were deluded when they've expected TES Online to topple WoW). Broken games, trying to appeal to every one on the market with all their games, lack of customer support....
I played now about 120h and restarted a lot, just cannot finish it.

The PC port of this console title is not as good as I thought.

The UI looks like you are in a space shuttle.
Many controls are available to console users only for camera movement and other things.
The dialogues with companions and all other normal folk feel unpersonal from 10m away (fixed over the shoulder distance, no cinematic camera).
The stories are flat and everything is linear.
There isn't a single moment where I went, Oh shit! (like many times in DA:O or in DA:2 when Anders tells you he betrayed you or right from the start when your brother dies ^^).

DAI Summery:
You do side missions to become better at doing side missions to increase the number on the scales for your character' abilities and get better at doing side missions. One of these side missions is the main story.

Elmofongo: This game is still in my Origin Wishlist. But I am debating whether I should get it soon when I get paid or wait until the end of the year of whatever possible DLC in the future (Knowing Bioware alot so I will just buy what I deem essential DLC)
Dragon Age: Inquisition is 50 % off on Origin now, if you're still interested. The DLC is not discounted though, but it got released a few days ago.

Remember to use the GG-warranty if you don't like the game.

I don't I can get it. Right now I am saving money for GTX 970 for games I have like Crysis 3 and the Metro Redux games.

Its 300$ right now.

And I have to spend for new glasses and a car which I am not driving because the folks are too cheap to spend on the car.
