CD Project SA stock continues its downward spiral. It is now trading below $36 a share having lost two thirds of its value this year.
Actually, it's been a year and half Aug 2020 the stock was at $101.55 per share.

Here is a current article hoping CD Project can turn things around but warning that one more mistake will be the end of this company.

While that sounds like an interesting idea, get too many things under the same umbrella and you'll have a handful of companies that own everything. Have any clue how much Disney owns under it's umbrella? Yeah i'd rather not see that.

On the other hand if he was an avid gamer and knew what people wanted and could turn things around, then maybe...
I think Sony are buying them.
It is a little interesting though. As in CDPR has established itself as a serious player on the market. And with the release of Cyberpunk 2077, good or bad, I was expecting shares to go way up. But they seem to have risen only for a moment, while the buzz lasted.

I don't think Musk should or would have any interest in acquiring the company.
Should we tax billionnaires to 99% of their income, since said 99% is useless to them anyway?
Yes, yes we should.
In perspective, buying a candy would have a significantly greater impact on my finances than Musk buying Twitter would have on his, and if this isn't fucked up I don't know what else is.

Maybe he should spend the money on a better and more healthier diet. That guy is slowly, but surely, turning in to one fat fu... Surely the guy's health needs be more important to him than some silly 144 character online social media communication program ?...

EDIT: Changed healthy to healthier, because it makes more sense...

Musk has zero experience running an online store or video game developer. So, he would be unlikely to bring any personal expertise if he bought CDP. The question that you need to ask is "would throwing money at what you think are the problems at CDP fix said problems"? And if the answer to that question is yes, does the price that he would demand (in terms of extracting value from his suggested purchase) make it worthwhile.

I suspect the answers are "no" and "no".
No.

Speaking of no experience in this field, the current president of CD Project was a Physics major who was handed their job with the company by his brother who was a cofounder. He had no experience in sales, marketing, computers etc.

Elon Musk does understand computing, marketing, operating a complex business etc.

Correction - had no experience. Now he has 27 years of it.

Don't get me wrong, in his own way, Musk is brilliant. I just personally wouldn't trust him to not be distracted by the next shiny thing that comes along. I also wouldn't sell him a company unless I didn't want to be involved in it any more and could live the rest of my life not caring what happened to it.

You created an alt just to say that ?...
Why stop there; he should buy Valve/Steam and make it DRM-free!
We 2nd the previous motion re Ste*m, as well as having them TRY, but fail, to charge VAT on a purchase by someone who resides 1/2 a globe away from the EU. GOG does NOT even try to pull this scam, which is why we support and patronize our Warsaw-based friends. After all, we are all Polish peasants at heart, are we not? ((;--))
