Matewis: Got it many moons ago with AC's collector's edition
I thought I recognized the design.

That's an interesting set there. Did it come with a copy of Gotham Knight on DVD?

Err hmm, I never noticed that DVD. I have to go and look at my box again - perhaps I actually missed it :P

Very nice, an oscilloscope is on my christmas list :)
But a damn, a Fluke? Those are expensive :P Would you say it is worth the price?

It's a nice tool all around but portable DMMs are always a set of compromises. For hobby stuff I probably wouldn't buy something that expensive (unless I knew I need its features that cannot be had for significantly less money). For digital electronics I'd probably prefer a bench DMM. And then again sometimes I'd like higher current capacity, e.g. to check the maximum current on on some higher powered flashlights. I'm afraid I'd blow the fuse on this fluke if I tried it on them..

I grabbed those from my employer's office.

Ah I see. I'm only interested in hobby stuff myself for which I think a cheaper AMM is sufficient.
I just have to see I can score an old school oscilloscope somewhere.
This is a lesson how to not have your desk.
Also, nothing interesting there...
