Hey all. I would really appreciate some feedback.
I bought pillars of eternity definitive edition a couple of days ago. My connection is slow and the size maybe 12 gbs so i was in for a long wait. About 40% in, a power failure interrupted the download (this may or may not be connected to the problem). I rebooted and the download seemed to continue without a problem, but after a while i realized that it ***seemed*** stuck at 40%. After i booting my pc again i realized that it had kept downloading, but the % number wasn't changing in real time.
So when it "checked local files" to continue with the download it had gone up to 70%.
I waited a couple of more hours with the download seemingly stuck at 70% but actually downloading, and the next time i booted the pc it checked local files again and then galaxy went "downloading 100%" I thought my troubles were over.
But it stuck there! I waited for a while, and rebooted twice and still got the "downloading 100%" message. Mind you, it kept downloading at very low speeds though i can't imagine what.
Frustrated and with no option to repair the download (it was greyed out) i aborted the download to start over. And i did ( with my connection speed that's hours and hours wasted)
And then.. it stuck again at 36,9%. I just rebooted and as i feared it's now at 44,9%, most likely stuck there too. What am i to do? Any suggestions?
Starting over at these speeds is very frustrating and there's no guarantee that it will work. There was no power failure or anything the second time it stuck so i'm assuming it's a galaxy bug.
