Momo1991: Yup, it's a tradition started by nmillar (busy with some irl stuff).... So let's show him that GOG keeps it's traditions alive with 90 SANTA'S!

We have 71 Santa's so far... I know we gotta have at least 19 MOAR Santa's just waiting for an invitation to participate. Plus with the Winter Sale going on, it's easy to find a gift for another participant AND there is still a week to sign up!

wpegg: Maths is not your strong point I assume?
Clearly not! ~chuckles... 19 didn't seem impossible but 29? Well that's gonna be a push... So how about 90 Santa's?
71 is still a nice, big number :) But of course we could use more participants!
Reminder PM's sent to last year's participants who haven't joined in the fun this year... Where the heck is Stooner, anyway?

YAY!! 73 ;-)
74, actually :)

I am exhausted and off to bed after a very long day, but I'll write a properly thankful message and my wishlist tomorrow. I have participated in the last two Secret Santas kindly organized by the great nmillar (I hope he is doing all right, by the way), and both years were a wonderful experience. I am sorry I barely write at the forums anymore, but since I became a father of 2 I seem to have permanently misplaced 4 or 5 hours of my time, so my days are merely 20 hours long at the most. And my brain is severely weakened, as you can see, due to sleep deprivation.

Anyway, it's great to be here once again. I am sure this year Secret Santa will be a great success one more time thanks to Momo and all the participants.

Cheers!

My wishlist:

Divinity: Original Sin
Banished
Battle Worlds: Kronos
Battle Realms + Winter of the Wolf
Call to Power 2
Theme Hospital
Papers, Please
Baldur's Gate 2 Enhanced Edition
This War of Mine
Don't Starve
A Settlers game (never played that series and I don't know which ones are the best, so any of them is welcome)

Just to say hello...

I'm still alive after two weeks of crunch time in my project... And all that with xmas preps with my wife and kids... I feel like I'm melting away while my head is exploding...
There are 43 wrapped boxes of gifts under the spreadsheet tree, 74 Santa's and 19 Elves! This is shaping up to be a testimony to nmillar's tradition ;-)

Let's get to 90 Santa's! Help me out and invite your forum friends ;-D

Dischord: Will gladly toast you back, and hope you have a great holiday season too!

dr.schliemann: Well said HijacK! I will personally gulp down a glass of italian red wine for the sake of Dischord's good health. ;-)
Toasts coming your way too!

It is unfortunate, but much easier to raise a glass in the honor of people here, than to actually be able to sit at a table with everyone and spend an evening doing so; such is life I guess.

Wish you guys the best of the Season, and will hopefully be able to toast you all a few times during the holidays, and after!

Yay, tradition! Time to dust off the old forum account and get into it. Totally forgot about it, too. :)

Here's my current wishlist, in no particular order. Includes movies and, unfortunately, mostly expensive stuff, since I'm a compulsive buyer of special offers, and don't have a very long wishlist.. as opposed to the backlog. 1st world problem, I know:

Door Kickers
Legend of Grimrock 2
This War of Mine
THE SECRET OF MONKEY ISLAND™: SPECIAL EDITION
SAM & MAX HIT THE ROAD
INDIANA JONES® AND THE FATE OF ATLANTIS™

US AND THE GAME INDUSTRY
MARS
DOWNLOADED

Thanks for organizing this and even passing out personal reminders for the slowpokes! It' appreciated.

You can't see it but I am toasting you guys (and myself, might I add) with a nice Pinot Noir right at this very moment.

It's doesn't matter if you observe any holidays at all, Secret Santa doesn't care... yeah, it's got Santa's name on it and gifts are delivered on December 25th but regardless, this is a non-denominational event! So get in and give a fellow forum member a gift and receive one in return... It's all in good fun!

Thanks, toasting you back as well, but no Pinot for me; budget said beer would be appropriate, though the company says a little cognac wouldn't hurt. :-)

Hope the organization of the Santa event is going well, and please enjoy a nice, relaxing evening with the wizard of pinot!
