In light of the Christmas sale ending before we get our presents from the secret santa and knowing what we can and cannot buy for the rest of the sale, we might have to reconsider the timetable.
I happen to be an early gifter, so I already have a fixed wishlist to wait and see what is on sale for my giftee, but I can also keep modifying my wishlist according to the sale until the deadline. I don't think this is fair. It's hugely beneficial to me, but not fair. And then there's people who will want to wait to see what they get for the present, and buy the rest of the wishlist after that.
I suggest optionally letting the reciever know which games they're going to receive, so they can plan their sale shopping, and still get the present in Christmas. It loses some (OK, a lot) of the charm but it's the closest I could come up with. Or we could make Christmas earlier in GOG.
