I see with the Winter sales, "second chance to buy" but the discount is considerably less than when it was daily new deals in most cases. For example Deep sky derelict was like $3 on a daily deal, but $15 now. I considered buying it then but now... meh. Fine if that's how you want it, but second chance is a misleading way of describing it.

Sorry I was told before but, when does winter sale and spending $15 to get the second game unlocked, end?

"The Winter Sale ends on January 3, 11 PM UTC."

It's not misleading at all and if $3 was too high then $15 has no chance.Do you want Gog to sell them for 10 cents or something?

Clearly, if it's not free, it's too expensive.
Hm? Ever got a second chance at a relationship with another person? Cost is always much higher; end result never guaranteed! Gog's still too lenient, with games and cash...

Second chances are almost never, second chances. Rather, "take your chances" instead, on a "take it or leave it" perspective. Missed that train, son? Cry and despair. Laws of nature, laws of time, laws of fate/destiny and all that.

Yeah well, that's the motto in this place and the only thing that keeps the forum open.I mean all you have to do is look at the giveaways and it's participants.

My comment was more pointed at the general trend, rather than some specific place. Something like $3 or $5 is basically nothing, especially when you consider what you get in return. In general, digital media has become ridiculously cheap.
The forum is decently lively even without those though. But yeah, I prefer to leave the giveaways to the less fortunate people, despite being interested at times.
Wasn't saying $3 was too high, I just was considering whether to buy it and lost my chance, I had other things to consider and do that day rather than considering and buying games. But no second chance right now.

Just because this offer or that is cheap, doesn't mean I should just buy it up, small amounts add up, plus it may not be a game I'd want to play in the first place. If it just sits in my library forever unused, no price is worth it. Give me a break and don't criticize me for not spending enough on GoG in your seeming and highly judgemental opinion.

And yeah, second chance at daily deals is not only misleading, but flat out false advertisement. This false advertisements not a big deal, but it shouldn't be dismissed either.

They should tell people when the sale ends, on the banner on the main page mentioning the sale in the first place, not some thread.

P.S. Mods, I accidentally flagged KiNgBrAdLeY7's post as spam, it was only a misclick. But like much of GoGs forum system, one can't undo many things including that. Though I do think Tauto and Lucoma could use a bit of a reprimand for the shit their giving me.

I agree it's misleading to call that a second chance when it's not even close the first one. There was one chance to buy it at a good discount. Now you have a chance to buy it at almost full price. It is NOT a second chance to buy it at a good discount.

It was $7, not $3.

The game was released only a few months ago. Put it on your wishlist, there's a good chance it will be even cheaper in the next big sale. If by that time you would no longer be interested, it was never really worth anything to you to begin with.

But,it's okay for you to put shit on Gog? Slightly ironic. And my question was genuine and unanswered except for a complaint to mods.Who is really putting shit on whom in here?
