skeletonbow: I'm saying it based both on personal experience of using Intel hardware, as well as personal experience of reading the publisher provided system requirements, and of the experience of others I've helped who have had problems with non-AMD/nVidia GPUs trying to play games for 20+ years. I've owned various Intel video hardware over time starting with the i740 back in the 90s and just about every onboard GPU they made from 2000 through 2006 when I was a video driver developer.
So ten years out of date then? Your quoting of system requirements written in the XP days is equally irrelevent nowadays. I think Intel started supporting hardware T&L way back in 2007. Given how different AMD/nVidia hardware has also become since then any compatibility issues are equally likely to strike them.

The 750M was launched in April 2013 so the Intel graphics in question is around that age. Probably a 2500, 4000, 4400 or 4600.

Like Timpuu I also game on an Intel HD graphics chip and haven't encountered a single apparent compatibility problem. There may be situations where it doesn't run as well as a similarly powerful AMD/nVidia chip like a 5450 but I couldn't tell you if that's the case. Knowing there are a lot of games that won't run on that performance (from any company) I just put them aside for a future computer.

Maybe if you've got a 5775C and you're trying to play blockbuster games then there are a few more problems, but those titles aren't known for being particularly problem free in the first place. See Rise of the Tomb Raider's AMD performance, or the shambles that was Arkham Knight.

Grovmel: Yes, though the option in intel control panel seem to be settings more related to watching videos. BUT now i do remember that i most likely encountered this issue, when i like a retard pressed random buttons playing outlaws (tried to find a specific key). The screen got much smaller and i restarted the game having the same issue. Than i went in to the game setting, and tried to set it to high resolutions etc. After that, the older games have had smaller size:p
It definitely sounds like you've changed the scaling settings, although I didn't think Intel had a keyboard shortcut for that. You could try changing your desktop to the same resolution as the game and then changing the Panel fit option on the desktop right click menu or Intel control panel.
You know, when you're trying to offer up some generally good advice to people, and others want to just nitpick it to death and shit in your face for trying to do something nice it gets tiring. I'm out.
