I cant articulate how excited I am about this title, its everything to me. This is something I've been waiting for since I was a child, this style this world finally realized in an exploreable and unique way...The essence of what is created here is beyond words.

Wow, I thought it died out long time ago. In any case, seeing how we got scammed with Descent, Power Drive 2000, Star citizen among many others... I don't believe it until it actually releases, be it on Steam and/or GOG,

If it does however come here and it's not a bad demo, I'll buy it in a second.

Holy smokes. I thought that game was been abandoned.

I was hyped for it like 2 years ago, it's visually interesting and a good example of body horror. Then I saw a gameplay preview and egad, it looked like it was running in bullet-time, all the time. Literally takes 10 seconds to reload a pistol. I don't expect it to be Doom, but I can easily see this becoming tedious if combat is a core aspect of the game. And if it's not, well... it could be a walking simulator or a fleshier version of Myst with all the contraption puzzles. What a letdown that would be.

I was 100% certain this game was vaporware.

And I just yesterday searched for news about this game to known what happen with it!!!

I'm very glad it wasn't abandoned and even better gonna be released much sooner than later.

Hopefully the game offers more than just great graphics. But I'm still interested.

I like that artstyle, lots of H.R. Giger resemblance.

Will it be released only when the new XBox comes out (late 2020 I presume)? I think it was mentioned in the Wikipedia article that Scorn is not coming out for current gen consoles but only the next XBox and PC. So I figured whether the game will delay the PC version as well until the Xbox is out? (GOG was mentioned in the Wikipedia article too)

Off-topic: Out of interest, I checked the specs of both the new XBox console and Playstation 5. Wow they have so similar specs, similar 8-core AMD CPU, similar (custom) AMD GPU, 16GB RAM, SSD etc.

So what are these two consoles going to compete with against each other, when their innards seem so similar? Console market was more interesting when they had so exotic and different hardware inside... I mean, PS2 even had an Emotion Engine which was told to be able to simulate EMOTIONS! Can any newer console claim the same? No, they are all insensitive machines.

If you read though the post Ebb will be releasing gameplay soon, they have too. Being partnered with Microsoft and getting that level of funding they have certain criteria they must meet. Not time tables but releasable content on brand. The focus is completely on how many titles are backwards compatible at launch. this is the major selling point. Also thermal design. Right now the Xbox is a MASSIVE, truly huge Cuboid standing upright while the PS5 looks like a space ship and literally melts itself, the devs cant keep it from going nuclear in the thermal department.

And yes it wont come out until at minimum the new Xbox is released... and the PC release will be on GOG Steam and Windows Store.
