Sacred 2 had those combination action buttons... With full controller support i'm inclined to give the game another try

Pick one. Both are mutually exclusive. Which is it? I see the Dragon Mage in the trailer, so I assume they just took a marketing blurb for the original Fallen Angel without Ice&Blood?

Also wondering about the community part. Wonder how many changes are just going to be from the Community Patch.

Unexpected either way. Given that I play the game with the Purist Fixpack, I fear the updated and changed gameplay part.

Was there a remaster of the first one? I don't remember seeing one, but it seems weird to start with the sequel. Or was the sequel much better received and is considered "the" Sacred game or something like that? I only ever played the first one, and remember thinking it was ok, but didn't actually hold my attention quite long enough to ever finish it.

I think it's pretty evenly split in case of Sacred. 2 is a bit more polished I'd say, but the 1st game has its charm.
Probably just going in reverse, starting with a remaster of the arguably better one.
If this does well, Sacred + Sacred: Underworld Remaster is up next.

Franz Stradal for example is a part of SparklingBit, which is doing the remaster. He worked at Ascaron before it closed down.
