Using GalaxyClient.exe, how do you run a certain game you have installed through it via the command line and still track playtime, achievements, etc?

Look at the shortcuts created by Galaxy?

I think that those launch the games through Galaxy, and thus enable Galaxy features.

Note: I don't use Galaxy, I'm on Linux, and Galaxy isn't all too cooperative with Wine, so I can't actually check. The above is from what I remember reading in another thread somewhere.

Looks like
/command=runGame /gameId=########## /path="path to game exe"

Where do you find the gameId?

There are a few community-driven projects to show more information about the games, the game id among other things. You could look at GOG Database, or the earlier MaGOG.
Found it under
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Wow6432Node\GOG.com\Games

Thanks Maighstir!
If you can get some games not built w/ Linux support working in Wine, that's classy as F***!

PlayonLinux make the process largely painless for most games, as do Crossover, which I used to use. I haven't bothered running "pure" Wine for many years. Might go back there eventually, but nah, not now.

there are a few files in each game directory:
goggame-${SomeNumber}.dll
goggame-${SomeNumber}.hashdb
goggame-${SomeNumber}.ico
goggame-${SomeNumber}.info

${SomeNumber} <= that's the game id

you can also open the 'goggame-${SomeNumber}.info' file in a text editor and look at the info there
