It seems that you're using an outdated browser. Some things may not work as they should (or don't work at all).
We suggest you upgrade newer and better browser like: Chrome, Firefox, Internet Explorer or Opera

GOG Database just provide an Atom feed for GOG game updates:
https://gogdb.yepoleb.me/changelog.xml [1]

I have tried several different feed readers since Google Reader shutdowned years ago, and stick in Digg Reader.
It is not perfect, but do fulfill my basic needs.

Many young people I know never use any feed readers, and many new blogs/forums have bad or null feed support.

What feed reader(s) are you using?

I don't much use RSS/Atom feeds nowadays, though I have one or two feeds bookmarked in my browser.

I used to use a multi-protocol chat client called Trillian, which includes a feed reader.
Feedly is a pretty competent reader, and it has a web interface as well as mobile apps.
I'm using The Old Reader. I remember its similarity to Google Reader was the main reason I switched to it after Google discontinued their service. In a free version you can have up to 100 subscriptions - I'm only subscribed to several feeds so it doesn't bother me. All I really need is a place to check for new posts a couple of times a day so The Old Reader is good enough for me.
I still haven't found an RSS reeder that meets all my expectations. I used to be very satisfied with one for years, but then it got an update and deleted all my feeds - and the developer admitted that this would happen every time in the future when there was a new update, so I had to search for better options.

I currently used one simply called "Read - Simple RSS Reader". It's on Google Play. It works great so far but doesn't allow to categorize or rename my feeds, which is a bit annoying.
I recently started using FeedDemon, it's ok but I've never really tried the others.

kbnrylaec: and many new blogs/forums have bad or null feed support.
I just use a localized wiki page and Right click -> Open in new tab off of it and say the heck with it.

I used NewsBlur for a couple of years
Now I'm using Inoreader
On my PC I use the RSS reader embedded in Thunderbird. This way I've got both my email and my feeds all in one place.

On my Android phone I use Flym. Available on Google Play and on F-Droid. Among other things, allows me to categorize and rename feeds. :)

necroing this thread, since firefox has dropped its own rss addon. I've tried to find something similar as standalone lightweight app to run on background (and get notified, once something new pops up), but no luck there:
Rss Guard is abandoned and has some weird glitches with encoding.
Liferea, while works, is basically a whole browser - far from being light. Same goes for FeedReader.

As for now, I've got stuck with Newsboat. Its light, can output into any notify library, highly customizable. The only problem - its a terminal application (thus - not for everyone)
