Hi all, I've installed RCT2 on my pc, have played it many times before on other Windows machines, but it crashes less than a minute after it's loaded with an error message 'RCT2.exe has stopped working'. Windows looks for a solution, can't find it and Im kicked out of the game. Not very informative, but any help appreciated.

Rather than trying to run vanilla RCT2, why not give OpenRCT2 a whirl? It has many quality of life features and better yet, is actually compatible with today's systems.

I also highly recommend using OpenRCT 2 to play this game, these days. It's also made it a better game by fixing some original old bugs. In addition, you can play all of RCT 1 in it as well with the conveniences and features of 2. ;)

Yup, openrct2 works like a charm. My favorite added feature is that you can actually choose whether you want to charge a park entrance fee, ride fees, or both.
