Hello, so i am trying to get the Roach Gwent card for the Witcher 3 but my problem is i don't know how to link my Witcher 3 to my gog account since i got it on Steam. When i launched the Witcher 3 is brought up a launcher, i made a CD Project red account there and when i launched the standalone Gwent app i was made to make a gog account. i played the gwent game for over a hour in the hopes it would trigger the card but nothing has happened so i logged into gog on the browser and its showing i only have gwent as a game and not Witcher 3 so im assuming thats it? idk, im getting a brain aneurism from this. idk if this is user error of a poorly made UI.

PS: also wtf did they do to gwent? i enjoy the hell out of it in Witcher 3 but the standalone game is a monstrosity

few people on this forum will understand what you are on about sadly. me included.
I think you need to go over to the CDPR Gwent specific forums. :/

Could this help?
It's a rather new post actually, the OP gave his/her solution in the first comment:

Support answered me and i finally got Roach. For anyone with the same problem, here what they said:

Hi,

Thank you for your email!

Try installing GOG Galaxy, login to your GOG.com account that you used in REDlauncher and install and launch GWENT there.

Kind regards, John

I know that Roach is a horse, but imagine Geraldo of Riverdale riding up on a giant cockroach.

Same here, but for me the first thing to ring a bell is Papa Roach :D

Do you own Gwent: The Witcher Card Game on Steam or not? That should be the only way to use to the same account for both games, since GOG is an independent store and you don't own The Witcher 3 here. Refer to the "How to claim rewards" section of the following page: https://www.thewitcher.com/en/my-rewards

Yes, the fact that a GOG account is required to play Gwent: The Witcher Card Game regardless of platform makes things a bit confusing.

Gwent: The Witcher Card Game is multiplayer. If it's not to your taste, you may like Thronebreaker: The Witcher Tales better. There's also Gwent: Rogue Mage but I don't know if it's worth checking out.

Appreciate the feedback and yeah i do own both the Witcher 3 and the gwent game on steam. my buddy and I spent a good two hours last night trying to figure out how to get the card and i have tried everything so thats why i thought it was a gog account problem. im just gonna give up because i have a massive headache from dealing with that lol but i will check out thronebreaker!
