It never had the chance to find out who it was and reach its full potential.

So young, so full of promise. I can even hear the sad clarinet while it slowly descends the thread list to pages 2 and 3.

i did not really get a chance to derail it, and for that it will be missed.

The other threads about this subject actually had some merit and things worth discussing.

This one, in contrast, is 100% pure spam, and it has no meaning or point or purpose for existing.

The purpose of this thread is instead to discuss the short life of the thread "RIP Gaming deals thread (2009-2022)" and share fond memories.

Funny how there wasn't really any off topic chat in the previous one. I think gog's just trying to re-acquire the Chinese Market by employing their Country's tactics of controlling the population & silencing dissent.

The gaming deals thread was closed due to a mod, people criticised the way gog has changed & their heavy handed tactics; that's 100% on topic but I guess the mods get to decide what a thread is actually about, not the creators or active participants.
