James Caan, who was most famous for his roles in The Godfather, Rollerball (the original movie from 1975), The Killer Elite and Misery died yesterday at the age of 82.

He will be missed but his legacy will live on.

Had just taken Thief off of the pile of shame the other day. Coincidentally also by ways of a video game too. Sort of... (Wishlist entry)
Although with his passing I could see the devs maybe pay him homage with a more direct reference.

Let's not forget "El Dorado" and "A Bridge Too Far".

GOd, most of the stars of The Godfather are gone; I thinkk only Al Pacino and Diane Keaton remain.

Astonishingly, Robert Duvall (who played the Consigliere Tom Hagen) is still kicking around at 91, although obviously not taking on too much acting work nowadays.

Also Talia Shire (who played Connie) is still alive.

It's amazing he lived to 82 after this shootout.

Love those films. Also, Thief is worthy of mention (it was directed by Michael Mann).

While it's not usually something I would pick to watch, I ended up enjoying Misery. Another movie with James Caan I happen to like is Mickey Blue Eyes.
