Sucks, but it's just that many artists are in their 60s-70s now and that's the normal life expectancy anyway. Thanks for the song by the way. ;)

You're welcome, it's not my favourite but it features Rick very prominently, that's why I chose it :)

Yeah it's that generation, gonna be some great party at The Last Gig in the Sky this year, hope I die before frigging One Direction! :)
Sounds like he died of Sepsis, know the signs, get help right away if have them.
Status Quo has been a big part of my life since I was a kid. There has always been Quo playing in my house. I saw them live six times and it was a blast each time. He will sorely missed. :(

Same here, I still remember some of us listening to Thin Lizzy and one of the guys had just bought the Hello LP, he played it and I've been a fan ever since! I know they get alot of crap like...."You know that quo song that goes like this...?"
But they were very musically diverse which is more apparent when you actually know their stuff.

A sad day indeed :(

Diversity is something Quo never had a problem with haha. Going from Matchstick Men to Hello to Ain't Complaining, so much variety. One reason why I love that band. :)

Wow, Pictures is a blast from the past! First song I learned on guitar was In my Chair, had it on a tape called some thing like Golden Hour of Status Quo, had Gerdendula and Umleitung Mean Girl, all the old stuff!

Great memories!

A lot of great stuff from that time period. I have collected a lot of it on vinyl LP over the years. Will definitely take the time to crank them. I have Rock Til You Drop on right now. 4500 Times coming up soon! :D

Perfect example of diversity, total epic rock on! :)
Was just talking to my guitarist, he reminded me of the first time we played together ,he started in my chair after tuning up and I started playing along and we finished it, seemed like an omen, 20 years later we still jam together and he's my best mate!, Thanks Rick and ....ERM Francis! :)

Such a simple song but when you get a group of guys who play it right, boy it does it sound magnificent.
