Pretty friendly move, although I personally never felt the need to refund anything. Only once I accidentally bought some games instead of a gift code, and support sorted that out for me really quickly.
When the 1-month policy was introduced, my most recent purchase was just over a month ago. Not long after, I came to the realization that RTS games are not for me; but I already have over 100 of them across several spending sprees courtesy of extreme discounts. This is why I really wish I could sell them to other users for store credit.

Ownership transfer of digital goods is only possible with strict and heavy DRM. And that's something we don't want.

Next time simply don't buy 100 games you might not like. If you see some strange fruit in the food stand, even if they're cheap, do you buy 100 of them before tasting one?
Looks like a great convenience change. Never refunded anything so far, but it seems really simple to do now.
"I thought it was for a different platform"

a.k.a where is my Steam code?

That's a step in the right direction.

However, I've got a question: if I understand correctly, we still need to contact support if we don't want a refund to Wallet, right?

Always nice to see improvements to the store, Chandra. One related feature I'd like to see similarly added to the Orders History page is the ability to use the "View Receipt" for gifted games that were added to an account via "Redeem Code" (eg, a game that was purchased by someone else then donated to the giveaways, competitions, etc).

From what I've seen, Steam will always send a shorter "keep this as your proof of purchase" receipt containing account name, name of game and a confirmation code (but minus any financial details of the original purchase) to the recipient of a game upon using a Steam key. But GOG only seems to e-mail a receipt to whomever originally bought a game but sends no e-mail confirmation at all to the recipient of games added via Redeem Code, plus the "View Receipt" in Orders History for such games doesn't work at all (just redirects to the home page), basically leaving GOG users with no proof of ownership / receipt at all for any gifted games.

Is it possible to add such a feature, ie, send a simplified e-mail receipt upon using "Redeem Code" and also allow the "View Receipt" in Orders & Settings to produce a similar GOG receipt containing account name (of account that redeemed the key), name of game, and order ID, (but minus the original payment details) to the recipient of a gifted GOG game? Thanks.

...
Why DRM for ownership transfer and not for ownership itself? Wouldn't it be based on the same system of trust?

Yes, you will be redirected to support, if you want a cash refund.

There is money involved (the user wants to sell games from his account). That is where trust stops. It would be too big an incentive to cheat the system.

Now you buy, refund - money back. Do it too often, and I'm certain some alerts go off at GOG HQ. If someone keeps the game - well just another pirate.
With selling "used games" you can actually make money in the process. And keep the game.

Furthermore one clever bastard could use a VPN to buy in ie. Russia cheap, and sell above that price, but below regular in the West. For gift codes this is prevented for exactly that reason. Or buy at 80% off during a sale, and later sell at 50% off from regular price. And if nobody takes it - refund before the 30 days are over.
If you always only get wallet funds - amass a few thousand of those and sell your account. People are creative and ruthless if they sniff out a way to make profit.
Took you guys over 7 days to refuse my refund. Useless.

I've had to refund things when they turned out to have DRM in them. A couple times. In the last 5 months.
