It has not gone, you can still be up and downvoted, and have negative rated posts which are hidden from some users. All that has happened is the count which was under your name has been hidden.

Oh, and there is also already several posts on this, one by GOG themselves.

It's not "gone" at all, rather, they just hid the counter.

Gone would be deleting the counter, and deleting the ability to "upvote" or "downvote" posts, and removing the "low rating" bully shaming mechanism, and removing the negative effects from the victims of the "low rating" bullying, such as their posts not being visible to certain readers, and them not being allowed to post links, etc.

Weighting free accounts to be practically void of any effect would do the effect and make it pointless, or at the least very expensive for said bot owners.

Yeh downvoting must go as well. But at least it’s already good that the rep system is gone. The community on gog will be much bigger and healthy for the next 20 years
