ReynardFox: Yeah, I have some wishlist entries that are pretty old right now. But to be fair, there are only so many hours in a day, only so much money to throw around flippantly and only so many games you can get to. So some games, even though you do want them, have to get relegated to the wishlist while busy with other stuff or if they launch at price hard to justify.

But when said game gets either an unignorable discount or is at risk of disappearing, that preservation instinct kicks in and I have to grab it. Which i would have likely done here if GOG hadn't given us only half a day of notice.
Agreed on all points....well said.

stryx: That's quite unlikely. GOG has more that 3500 games in it's library and it's adding new games each week. More than are vanishing.
True, though I think that user was being hyperbolic for effect.

Also while hyperbolic, it points out the issue that a good number of titles have been dropped the past year or so and mostly older titles.....most of which have yet to come back.

Basically agree, though i still don't think the sudden notice is necessarily GOG's fault. What do you for a living, if you don't mind me asking?

I'm actually on a disability pension, and my 'only so many hours in a day' is limited to how long I can handle playing a game in the first place with my back & pelvic problems. I seem to be collecting more than I play these days.
What?!? How? Why? When? And whose pants are these? Speak up now!
Since this thread is still up there... In case anybody missed it, here is a link to another removal thread for:
