With the remaster now officially out on consoles and steam will gog owners get an uprgrade like with Doom 1 and 2 and Q1

I think you probably meant to post this in a game specific forum. Which game are you asking about? The answer really depends on if the game's publisher chooses to release the remaster here.

I guess he's talking about Quake 2 remaster that'll be announced and released today, according to rumors.

Good catch. Nice of Bethesda to release the remaster here, though I guess they've overall been pretty decent about supporting GOG, so it shouldn't be altogether surprising.
