The R-Type DLC milking continues unabated I see... :P

This is a good game, and I think the £34.99 price for the base game is reasonable. Add up the DLCs (excluding soundtrack) though, and it costs £127.36. That's a lot more than even the very best AAA games.

Ah, yeah. I was warned about these as a kid. The first hit is free.

I think i mentioned this before here, but it's somewhat relevant so i'll post it here.

There was some mobile game dev I was talking to here that had also worked in the US.
He said the main difference in mtx bought was that in the US people wanted like a boost to SPEED UP progression. Whereas here in Japan people wanted to cut in line basically to SKIP progression.

Honestly haven't done much analysis into that, but interesting and possibly related.

btw the guy was just doing his job, just sayin.
