Windswept is now available on GOG!

Marbles and Checkers need your help finding their way home after being swept away in a storm. In this '90s buddy-platformer, there's a ton of stuff to do and even more to collect!

Check it out!
Look what the wind swept in.
Looks cute and fun tbh, something I could easily chill with. It reminds me a bit of of the good old Plok!

I found a comment from the dev saying the keyboard layout can be rebound so this is a plus for me b/c not all precision platformers allow this which often makes it difficult for me to play it well.

I also love reading this below part, b/c this is not something all devs honor for their kickstarter backers these days!
There was also updates along the way on the enemysmemeny platform so ppl can see its not abandoned etc, which also not something all devs bother with anymore. Its always a big plus for me when devs keep their word and dont go completely radio silent.

"Welcome to the first of many dev logs showcasing things that I have spent the last month working on as part of my commitment to our Kickstarter Backers. These updates arrive for them a month before you'll read them here because they paid for the ~perks of exclusivity~ but this is your next-best source for info about what's being worked on and how things are playing out."

I will check out this game next month!
Okay, so that's definitely Donkey Kong Country with woodland creatures then. No mistaking that swapping animation.
Where's the UI? even Super Mario Bros (1985) had an UI with basic info.

I smell a Nintendo legal attempt soon from how what I seen of this seems like a reskin

If it is anything like the game that inspired it, it only floats in when you do something involving it. Collect thing, lose life, etc.
