amok: They play very differently, Perspective is, in the end, a puzzle platformer where the point you are jumoing between 2D and 3D. Viewfinder is much more a puzzle game where you manipulate and transform the 3D space
Dark_art_: From the little I saw about Viewfinder, the concept seem pretty much the same. The player use perspective in order to solve puzzles.
I'm not saying Viewfinder is a clone of Perspective but seems to draw a lot of inspiration from.
I think Viewfinder and Perspective are too different to say one was inspired by the other. Sure, they both deal with perspective and manipulating space, but that’s where the similarities end. There are plenty of other games that play with perspective, like Superliminal, Monument Valley, or echochrome, but that doesn’t mean they were all influenced by Perspective. If I remember correctly, the developers of Viewfinder have said their main influences were Portal, The Witness, and The Talos Principle - none of which are particularly focused on perspective puzzles.
