Vernal Edge is a 2D metroidvania platformer with a female protagonist, embracing classic retro vibes. You’ll take up the role of titular Vernal – a young woman bent on finding her estranged father. With the help of some abnormal martial prowess and an amnesiac automaton named Chervil, you’ll make your way across the mysterious lands; to find both revenge and the truth. You’ll get to experience the floating islands of Haricot, jump, dash and slide your way into pixel art environments – all that, sprinkled with a dynamic and rewarding combat system.
