Tales From The Tiers? The tiers that nobody can upgrade to? :P
Also, a new expansion is "coming soon", see:

DLC and an expansion? Ah, well, more incentive to wait for a complete edition in a future sale.

Yeah, it's kind of exciting to know that we'll be able to buy the complete edition of this in the future for $5 including all expansion packs and DLCs, or the Super Holy Shit Mega HD Extreme 8k edition that will come out in years to come. Ah, the benefits of being a PatientGamer(TM)... :)

Not to mention that GOG still doesn't has upgrade options. I got suckered with the preorder bonus, but it won't happen again.
Tyranny is getting the Paradox treatment

So there is already three tiers of the game, all pretty expensive. Plus a pay for some pictures, now a doctor, and an expansion in the works. Looks like he milking train known has paradox has arrived. One for the "3 years down the line when they have bled it dry" methinks!
I take it from the bright side. If Obsidian has time for making new content for Tyranny, that probably means that Pillars of Eternity 2 is going to be finished soon :)

Yeah, me as well. Now I'm starting to wonder how unethical it would be to buy games and pirate just specifically their preorder DLC. I mean, as far as I'm concerned, ingame preorder content is a huge problem anyway. And funnily enough, I think the companies would prefer I do this rather than my alternative, which is to never buy the game, either preordered or after launch, if it has in-game preorder-specific content.

Totally agree. The only way to stop the DLC insanity is not buying. With 562 games on my GOG account (about 500 of them being in my backlog), I don't really *need* new games, so I can afford to have games in my wishlist for years. That being said, games like the Witcher 3, where the developer announced in advance that there will be 2 DLCs, are fair IMHO because you know the deal in advance - so it can't really be called milking. The real evil are those who develop further DLCs counting on the collectors.

We should found something like a PatientGamer Society. I'm nominating you for the Chairman.

That's two completely different teams working independently from each other with only some overlapping.
Deadfire still is scheduled for some time Q1 next year at the earliest.

Not too keen on either the patch/DLC thingie or the upcoming expansion, to be honest.
The base game already was a huge disappointment, it felt and played like a dumbed down, casualized shittier version of Pillars of Eternity, a damn shame really.

Also, I'll be damned if I support a publisher that charges for something as trivial as a portrait pack again anytime soon.
Oh, more regional pricing.
Yeah, guys, supporting artists and content creators is totally lame. I'd rather wait for a humble bundle so I don't have to pay them at all for all of the wonderful work they did.

¿Dlc? ¿5 MB for 7€?

¿Or Removed game content To put it on sale as dlc?
