It’s time to finish the hunt in the epic finale to the Turok Trilogy – Turok 3: Shadow of Oblivion Remastered is now available on GOG straight from the hands of Nightdive Studios!

The title picks up immediately after the events of Turok 2: Seeds of Evil, with dual protagonists Joseph and Danielle Fireseed, of the Turok family tree, as they battle the titular antagonist Oblivion and its followers, the Flesh Eaters.

This remastered version is a faithful restoration of the classic first-person shooter originally released in 2000 for the Nintendo 64, upgraded through Nightdive Studios’ proprietary KEX Engine for play on modern gaming devices with up to a 4K resolution at 120FPS. You can expect upgraded gameplay, high-resolution textures, enhanced lighting and rendering, as well as support for gamepads, and more!

Check out this absolute gem right now and enjoy an amazing classic FPS in its revitalized form!
Nice!

Edit: $29.99 not nice. :(

Came here just to say: "$30 dollars??? WUT?!?!"

In all seriousness, though. What are you people doing with this type of pricing? I get that work went into it but I just got Resi 4 Remastered for that price and you can get Amnesia: The Bunker for $24.99 new.

FOMO Fishing is a helluva sport I tell you.

Wishlisted and the wait begins.

Maybe it gets a discount later. When Shadow of Mordor came out here, it was 20 € and I bought it. About an hour later it was reduced to 5 € :D

I hope so. Weren't the first two games $20, why is this one so much?

I have no idea tbh...
The trilogy of N64 is complete!
cool, I'm not so sure about the 30 though :D
That banner picture is definitely a face only a mother could love.

My guess is the $30 tag is to try and recoup some of the development costs for the latest KEX engine version.
Also, I wouldn't be surprised if there were significant changes and improvements to levels and gameplay. Turok was a straight port, Turok 2 had some tweaks to certain levels and other improvements. I wouldn't be surprised if Turok 3 has even more extensive changes, since the original game had some big issues. If this is the case, $30 seems justified. Will wait and see.

Wouldn't be a true remastered Turok release if people wouldn't be complaining about the price. It happened with the first game, it happened with the second game and now it's happening again with the third game. Classic.

I'm picking this up soon. Never actually played much of this game back then due to Golden Eye and Perfect Dark multiplayer.
At the current time of this post, Turok 3 doesn't show up properly in the GOG Galaxy, it appears as an "Unknown Game" in the library. I assume this is due to it JUST being released but still
The question is not whether I buy the game or not, it's rather when I buy it. Maybe in the middle of the next month :)

Already picked it.
It's indeed pricier than I expected - but considering the amount of time/effort required for rescuing this game from a long dead console (without its source code)... And then going as far as to fix its core issues (in the N64 version, framerates dipped to single-digit numbers during boss fights) and finally bringing 4K and 144 (max) FPS ...The price is kinda fair.

FWIW if you don't agree with its pricing policy you can wait for the inevitable sale.

Problem with (some) GOG customers is:
even if this game would have a 75% release discount (so - price point: €7,50) - some here would still complain that the BASE PRICE is too high.
