Trust No One, try out the DEMO!
Good advice, but unfortunately not all games offer a demo :)
It is so dirt cheap that I'll trust it without even trying the demo :)
But if I'm not trusting anyone, why should I try out this demo?

Will trust you...
The game looks interesting. It will be worth the full price, I trust.

I just refunded the game. It is absolutely not what I expected and it requires you to use the real internet and send real e-mails to certain e-mail adresses to get some codes .... so if those servers should be gone you won't be able to play it anymore at all. No mention about this in the game description unfortunately. Add to this that the game is extremely short (approx. an hour) and basically has no story at all. Maybe some people like these kind of games but constantly ALT-TAB out of the game to google things I need to continue in the game is not my idea of fun.

Sounds like they are reusing an old concept from In Memoriam
and Das letzte Ritual: In Memoriam 2

That's disappointing. I've re-read the description on the game page and even with your information there is no way to read that between the lines.

Ewwwww. No, thanks.

But a great way to collect active email addresses. Who cares about data protection laws anyways?

Well, the game page does say "DRM FREE. No activation or online connection required to play. " . Which would have made GOG seem pretty deceitful and untrustworthy here, if they didn't start off right away at the top by saying "Trust no one"...
